I teach cycling skills to people of all ages, including:
- learning how to ride a bike
- basic and advanced handling skills
- safe and effective cycling with traffic, alone or in a group
- riding any kind of bike — regular bikes, bike share bikes, e-bikes, and cargo bikes
- basic bicycle maintenance, including roadside repairs
I teach:
- private lessons
- group classes
- youth skill intensives (bike rodeos)
- in public school systems, as part of the Safe Routes to Schools program
I’m a League Certified Instructor with the League of American Bicyclists, a road riding instructor with the Bicycle Riding School, and a youth skills instructor with the Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition. Bicycling has been my primary mode of transportation in metro Boston for over 25 years! I’m thrilled to share what I’ve learned through practical experience and professional teacher training.
