I was looking for a gift for my friend Dave Curry, who is a noise musician and collector of vintage curiosities. I found this vintage (1930’s) Executone intercom speaker at an antique shop in Chicago and thought it would be an awesome enclosure for a noise tone generator. I installed a Vibrati Punk Console kit in it, did a little circuit hacking to add an easter egg (which Dave found in about a minute), and now it periodically shows up in Dave’s music!
