Swingbike

One of my favorite SCUL bikes to ride is BEE Chastity, which is a swingbike — it has a hinge in the middle of the frame. These are really fun to ride because you can change the geometry of the frame while it’s moving, causing the bike to turn in tight loops or in loose ones.

The innovation with this variant of a swingbike is that the central headset is easily serviceable — it can be disassembled for repair or maintenance.

I also installed an SLA battery, a bright blue high intensity LED as a headlight, a plasma generator as a taillight, and added BMX tires with reflective sidewalls.

This build is pretty tough — it’s mostly BMX parts — and one of my favorite moves is to ride the front wheel up a curb cut while the back one stays on the road. Fun!
